The body reaches peak production early in adulthood and by the age of 60, produces just 5 to 15% as much as when it was 20. Studies show DHEA may help Lupus, osteoporosis and menopausal symptoms in women. Research has also indicated it may be helpful for improving sexual function for older women and men.
