Preventing Cancer with Healthy Choices
Scientists have
shown us that a healthy diet is a key factor in staying healthy.
We now know that not only is diet a key to good health, it can help
the body in its efforts to heal itself, and in some instances,
specific foods can strengthen the immune system and lessen the risks
of serious illness. We know the choices we make regarding our diet,
can raise or lower our chances of getting cancer.
1. Avoid polyunsaturated vegetable oils, margarine, vegetable
shortening, all partially hydrogenated oils, and all foods that
might contain trans-fatty acids (such as deep fried foods).
2. Increase your omeg-3 fatty acid intake by eating more cold-water
oily fish (such as salmon), flaxseed, and walnuts. If these food
sources are scarce in your diet, consider 100% salmon oil and
flaxseed supplements.
3. Reduce your consumption of animal foods and try to replace them
with vegetable proteins (such as whole soy products).
4. Use hormone-free, organically produced products when possible.
5. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.
6. Eat shitake, enokitake, maitake, and oyster mushrooms frequently.
7. Consume green tea daily.
Implement these
anti-cancer tips and talk to your health care provider about how to
incorporate OneLifeUSA’s Somehting Smells Fishy (for
omega-3’s), Super Flaxseed + Greens (for omega-3’s and
green vegies.), and Brabec Baiscs Green Tea
Extract capsules into your health care routine.
