A Double
Bacon Cheeseburger with
Green Tea Please!
Don’t be surprised to
hear, "I’ll take a super-sized green tea with my double bacon
cheeseburger and fry combo, please." Recent research on
anti-oxidants, known to help prevent heart disease, is generating
numerous studies; with green and black teas often the subject.
As results come in, the health benefits of these teas
are published . The latest? Keep those arteries wide open.
Researchers convinced 30 healthy nonsmoking, nontea-drinking, adults
to eat a 900-calorie fast-food meal containing 50 grams of fat!
Sounds like cruel and unusual punishment.
The participants also drank a cup of either– iced black
tea, iced green tea or a nontea iced liquid. Then using ultrasound,
researchers measured the blood vessel size just before the meal and
three hours after. Post meal measurements showed the tea drinker’s
vessels remained wide open!
Researchers know that a person’s blood vessels
constrict after a high-fat meal. A sudden narrowing of the blood
vessels can set up a dangerous heart condition. Now that scientists
have reported that drinking black or green tea with a meal helps
keep the blood vessels open….we know what your next One Life order
should include!

Put The Kettle On... Lose Weight
I am afraid to publish the results of this study. How
will we ever fill the demand once this story leaks out?
According to researchers at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston,
drinking green tea (which is also known for its powerful cancer
fighting compounds; anti-oxidants) may help you burn more calories
by inducing slight changes in metabolism.
