Black Walnut Tincture-

is one of the three components recommended by Dr. H. Clark in her parasite cleanse kit.

Black Walnut tincture (double strength, made only from the green hulls) - 1 oz. bottle. Black walnut tincture is in liquid form. It has been used and studied as a topical application, oral mouth wash, and taken internally. It is most noted as an anti-microbial and anti-parasitic. For example, it effectively treats giardia, a pear-shaped protozoa, that inhabits the small intestines of humans that can cause such symptoms as nausea, diarrhea and intestinal cramping. Giardia is commonly found in the water supplies of developing countries, according to the National Institutes of Health, and black walnut tincture would be an effective treatment to bring along when traveling to these destinations. It has been used for centuries as a topical skin application to help heal wounds. Noted as an anti-microbial, studies have shown the topical application may help with athlete’s foot, eczema, and psoriasis. It has also been studied for its possible dental health benefits. Shown to help promote oral wound healing, it is a common ingredient in toothpaste in many countries. It is perhaps most well known in the US for its anti-parasitic properties. Not only against Giardia (as mentioned above) but against a wide selection of parasites.

As one of the three components of the well known Dr. H. Clark’s parasite kit, it is discussed at length in many of her published books. Her two most detailed and popular are: ‘The Cure For All Cancers’ and ‘The Cure For All Diseases’. In both of these books she goes into great depth regarding her research and recommendations for how to use three natural products to rid the body of virtually every type of parasite. She is quite specific as to the type of raw materials that should be used, their proper handling and their preparation.

She even gives instructions on how to prep these ingredients yourself! Noting that if they are not handled and prepared properly, they will not work to kill and remove parasites from your body.

In 1995, OneLifeUSA was contacted by an existing customer whose wife was being treated by Dr. H. Clark. He was very impressed with his wife’s progress, but found the ordeal of preparing the ingredients too much. He asked us if we could make it for him. To be honest, we were skeptical about the whole thing. However, after some research, realized that regardless of how one may feel about Dr. H. Clark’s belief that ‘parasites were the root of all disease’ – her knowledge regarding them was top notch.

Because her published instructions regarding the preparation of her parasite cleanse ingredients was geared toward the individual doing so in their kitchen, translation to a commercial setting was not possible. Realizing this and understanding that the preparation of her ingredients was key to their success, we were extremely fortunate that Dr. H. Clark agreed to meet with our lab technicians to insure that we would be preparing her recommended products according to her strict specifications! After some work, a procedure was completed and has been followed ever since. This insures our final products meet Dr. H. Clark’s standards and have been manufactured safely and effectively.

Of her three parasite cleanse ingredients, black walnut tincture, cloves and wormwood, the black walnut tincture was perhaps the trickiest. The strength is extremely critical and the type of black walnut hull that must be used is also vital to its success.  According to Dr. H. Clark, the time when the hull must be harvested is exact and cannot be altered; otherwise the hull is useless as a parasiticide.

Dr. H. Clark is adamant that all three of these ingredients be used together and in the amounts she suggests. If not, she sates her research shows their effectiveness will not be reliable. Interestingly, her basic parasite cleanse is an 18 day procedure that involves different amounts of each ingredient on different days. On some of the days, not all three ingredients are taken! This is why, she explains, these ingredients must be made as separate products and cannot be combined into one formula!
She relies on the black walnut and wormwood to kill the adult and developing parasites, while the cloves are essential for killing the eggs. The black walnut tincture is made from the fruit of the Juglans nigra, or the Eastern black walnut, a species of flowering tree in the walnut family, and, is native to eastern North America. It grows mostly from southern Ontario, west to southeast South Dakota, south to Georgia, northern Florida and southwest to central Texas. It is a large deciduous tree attaining heights of 30–40 meters (98–130 ft). It produces a fruit that ripens during the autumn into brownish-green colored semifleshy husk and a brown, corrugated nut. The whole fruit, including the husk, falls in October. Note: To achieve the green husk needed for Dr. H. Clarks purposes the earlier picked the better.
For most commercial purposed, the black walnut is harvested for the kernel or the nut inside of the husk, not the husk.  However, for the purposes of Dr. H. Clark’s parasite cleanse, it is the husk that is desired.  Regardless – separation of the nut from the fruit of the black walnut is difficult. The thick hard shell is tightly bound by tall ridges to a thick husk. The husk is best removed when green as the nuts taste better if it is removed then.  The timing of this is good as far as the preparation of the black walnut tincture is concerned.

One reason it is believed that black walnut tincture prepared properly, can have medicinal uses is that the nut husks secrete yellow pigments called juglone and plumbagin.  These yellow pigments have exhibited anifungal, antiviral, and antibacterial properties.  This could be why preparations made using black walnut tincture has been used for centuries in the treatment of acne, ringworm, and a variety of viral and fungal infections. Although no human trials have been conducted, laboratory studies have shown that these substances do have apoptosis and necrosis effects on cancer cells.  Both juglone and plumbagin have been shown to decrease cell viability and increase cell death.

There are no well documented contraindications for black walnut tincture. However those who are pregnant, nursing or have nut allergies should not take black walnut tincture.  The only adverse reactions to black walnut tincture have been those related to nut allergies.

disclaimerSHOP SMART: Perhaps one the most common questions I am asked is: “How did we select the ingredients for this parasite cleanse kit”? We didn’t. This parasite cleanse is based solely on the research and recommendations of Dr. H. Clark. We were quite fortunate to have Dr. Clark personally come to our lab and work directly with our technicians. Her input insured these products were made according to her strict standards and that the final results met her specifications . (read details)

Dr. Clark’s published books are quite comprehensive and provide hundreds of case studies regarding the many successes of her parasite cleanse protocol. It is understood that the results from her studies represent only her study participants, and cannot be expected for everyone.
